Four of us friends got together in 1992 and we took a trip to New England. We toured historic Boston and hiked through the beautiful mountains of New Hampshire. It was an invigorating and fun way to see the area and we all agreed we’d like to do more hiking.  Every year we chose a new destination and each trip consisted of at least four to five of us women. We soon dubbed ourselves the “Happy Hikers.” Eventually, we decided to tell our story and in 2020, we published this book with each one of us telling our tale. Hiking is wonderful!
