Katherine  Edwins Schumm

Katherine Edwins Schumm was born in Minneapolis, MN but at the age of two the family moved to Asia. Over the next eleven years, she lived in more than five countries.  This experience is reflected in her writing and stories since writing her first novella in seventh grade.

A natural storyteller she became a therapist as an adult, which helped her touch the lives of many women and families experiencing conflict and life transitions. In 2002 she was asked to write a retrospective of her grandfather’s mission to China in the early 1900’s which published both in the U.S. and in China. 

Currently, she lives in central Florida with her husband and three dogs.
